Owner/CEO
John is the owner of Hargrove Inspections and has been in the industry since 2000. He enjoys casting the vision for the team, leading our inspectors, and creating positive impact in the community. He enjoys golfing, outdoor adventures of all kinds, and spending time with friends and family. He is a dad to four kids, and they call him the king of dad jokes. He’s an active member of his church and lately you can find him traveling to other countries doing mission work.
Owner/CFO
Regan is co-owner of Hargrove Inspections and is the CFO, although you can find her doing lots of different types of tasks for the company. She loves casting the vision, creating processes, and leading the admin team. She enjoys walking, running, reading and relaxing on her porch or by the pool. While she loves business, her first passion is being a mom to four kids – one married, two in college and one in high school. She also heads up our mission arm, The Project 143 Foundation, and loves doing mission work in other countries.
Inspector
Sanford is the real OG, and has been with Hargrove for more than 20 years. He is a team leader and the go-to-source of knowledge for the other inspectors. He is also our historical homes expert. Sanford is married to his high school sweetheart, Michele, and they have two grown sons. When not out inspecting you can find him fishing, hunting, or spending time with his grandson.
Financial Admin
Since Mandy was hired in 2016, she has worn a few different hats in her time on the team, from customer service to bookkeeping and head of HR. Now she remains active part-time as the financial admin and has returned to school for another degree. Mandy keeps busy being a mom of 3 and cheering them on in all their activities. She loves being active with her church, watching live performances of all kinds, and finding the best memes.
Inspector
Jamie began with Hargrove in 2017 and is well loved by customers and agents. Everyone in the office loves when his giant bully XL, Cash, comes in for a visit and some pets. He and his wife Wendy love to spend time with their 3 grown children and grandbaby. They love to ride their Harley and stay active in Souls of Sobriety. Jamie also is a talented guitarist and luthier and owns Ayers Guitars.
Inspector
Pat became an Alabama home inspector in 2019, after retiring from the Air Force. He then joined Hargrove Inspections in 2022. Pat performs inspections for the CSRA as well as our Columbia market. Pat prioritizes spending time with his 2 grown daughters and grandchild.
Inspector
Rita has been with Hargrove since 2016, but she has been inspecting since long before that, and formerly co-ran her own inspection company in Alabama. She also is a registered nurse! Rita genuinely cares for all her clients and loves working with first time home buyers. Rita has two grown sons and a daughter, and two rescue dogs, that she loves to take hiking. On weekends you are likely to find her boating on the lake with friends.

Chip came to Hargrove in early 2020, and is frequently requested by agents for his knowledge and excellent service. He also has expanded to be the lead inspector for Columbia! Chip and his wife Katie have 3 grown sons and love to cheer on the Bulldogs. He was a 4 year starter in baseball and loves to play golf. When not working, you can also find him relaxing on the beach.
Inspector
Terry is a proud Army veteran and came to join the Hargrove team in 2020.'Terry is efficient, detailed, always eager to learn new skills, and often leads our commercial inspections. Terry likes to golf and has 2 adult daughters that he loves spending time with. He also is a tattoo enthusiast.
Customer Service Leader
Michelle came aboard at the start of 2021 and leads our office admin team. She does an excellent job managing our complex schedule while taking care of all our clients’ needs. Michelle has one daughter in high school and enjoys spending time with her close-knit family. She is active in her church community and loves to cheer on the Gamecocks in every sport.
Inspector
Andy became a Hargrove inspector in 2023 and brings a lot to the team! He is trained in all our auxiliary services and also services Columbia. Andy is the proud uncle of 17 nieces and nephews! In his free time he enjoys golf, travel and hanging by the pool.
Operations Leader
Coming aboard in 2024, Bethany oversees operational processes across Hargrove, helping coordinate teams, streamline workflows, and support an exceptional customer experience. Known for her organization, reliability, and problem-solving skills, she plays a key role in keeping the company running efficiently. Outside of work, she is a mother of four who enjoys staying active and values a strong balance between work and family life.
Inspector
Jeff became a member of the inspector team in 2026, bringing years of experience with him, as he formerly owned a home inspection business in central Louisiana. He and his wife have two kids and love to spend time outdoors, going for a hike, biking or camping at the lake.
Inspector
Audrey joined the team in 2026 as an inspector. She is an avid football fan, enjoys playing music, bike riding, spending time outdoors, and doing DIY projects around the house. Most importantly, she values spending time with her son. She loves learning new and useful things, and nothing excites her more than gaining knowledge she can apply in real life.
Sawyer joined the team in 2023 and is a reliable inspector assistant, while training to become an inspector himself. Sawyer first became interested in the industry after building a family home from the ground up under the direction and training of his architect grandfather. Sawyer stays active and is disciplined about his health. He enjoys backpacking, working in his garden and raising chickens and turkeys.
Service Manager
Kyle was hired in 2023 to be our service manager, and is also training to become a home inspector. Kyle and his wife Jess have 4 children and met while serving as full-time missionaries with Youth With A Mission. He has visited 32 countries and enjoys landscaping as a hobby.
Inspector
Med is our other team leader and has been inspecting with Hargrove nearly 19 years. He is a true mentor and inspiration to the team and is our resident NACA inspector. Med is married to the love of his life, Cindi. They love to spend time outside, going for rides on their Harley, and spending time with friends. Med is an active member of Souls of Sobriety and is passionate about giving back to others and his community.

Buddy joined the Hargrove team in the spring of 2015. He is known for taking his time and being meticulous on every inspection. He and his wife, Melissa, have two grown daughters and one granddaughter that they adore. In his free time Buddy likes to read and collect watches.
